GOD FORBID: 'The End Of The World' Video To Debut On 'Headbanger's Ball' This Weekend

November 3, 2005

GOD FORBID just wrapped up a highly-successful run on the Decibel magazine-sponsored Fury of The Fall tour with MESHUGGAH, THE HAUNTED and MNEMIC, which will lead them into a four-date headlining stint with AGENTS OF MAN on the East Coast. The group will immediately head over to Europe for a massive trek alongside THE HAUNTED and GOD DETHRONED taking them to the end of the year. Their new video for the track, "The End of the World", shot by acclaimed director Dave Brodsky (ALL THAT REMAINS, FIGHT PARIS, THE RED CHORD) will make its "Headbanger's Ball" debut this Saturday, November 5 at 10 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. PST. It will also make its "Metal Asylum" debut on Wednesday, November 9 at 8:00 p.m. EST. A video for the epic track "To the Fallen Hero" will be shot by acclaimed director Shane Drake (FALL OUT BOY, HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS) this Saturday, Nov. 5. The shoot will take place at Westlake High School (100 North Lakeview Canyon Road) in Westlake Village, California.

The group's critically acclaimed new album, "IV: Constitution of Treason", entered The Billboard 200 chart at No. 119 in its first week of release. Produced by Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM) and Eric Rachel (ATREYU, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN),the album — a socially and politically charged vision of a post-apocalyptic world — further displays the incredible creativity and talent of one of the most highly-respected bands in metal today.
